Biography
I enjoy brightening people’s day and serving the community as an On-Air Personality/Announcer/Producer in broadcasting. It is no accident that I am from Nashville, Tennessee “Music City USA”, since music and radio are my passions, particularly when I get to deliver outstanding news and content, and the best of listening entertainment. A multitasker, I have training and experience in on-air broadcasting, announcing and editing for radio, and writing online copy and scripts. I mentor colleagues in helping to get their shows on online platforms, and help students write and produce their shows.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego in May 2021 in Broadcasting and Mass Communications and got an Associate’s Degree from Volunteer State Community College in December 2017 majoring in Entertainment Media Production.
Technical Background

Goals: I am seeking to pursue a career as on-air radio personality and become one of the visionaries of the future. As an On-Air Personality, I engage with the listener and share my passion for music as well as news and current events in pop culture. During my shift at WVCP – Vol State’s 88.5 FM, I announce the news, public events, and provide fascinating trivia on the artists and their hits being played. In addition, I have done voiceovers for commercials for the radio station. For the past five years, I host a one-hour radio show on WRFN-LP called The Piano Men which showcases piano players from a wide range of musical genres. The show airs on non-commercial community radio stations and is nationally syndicated. It is my responsibility to develop entertaining and interesting content to both of my shows. I have interviewed piano players such as Jim Brickman, John Tesh, David Sancious of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, and Michael Omartian of Steely Dan fame. My personal mission is to get the listeners as excited as I am about what goes into making music as well as who the artists are.
